Specialized launches the new Stumpjumper EVO Alloy – a fully adjustable, high-performance, all-metal rendering of the ultimate trail bike. Building on over 40 years of innovation in the Stumpjumper family, the Stumpjumper EVO Alloy brings all the features and performance of the brand’s flagship carbon bikes in a tough, dependable, no-compromise package.
The newest member of the Stumpjumper family boasts Specialized’s most advanced alloy frame ever: three separate machining processes were used to construct the head tube to accommodate adjustable headset cups, giving riders 2.5 degrees of head angle adjustability. The hydroformed downtube features an integrated SWAT™ box that brings all the usual SWAT™ convenience to the alloy platform while still providing class-leading chassis strength and rigidity.
Six style-specific size offerings give riders the freedom to choose the bike that best fits the way they want to ride. Similar standover height across the size range allows riders to size down if they’re looking for a playful, snappy ride or size up for more stability. Paired with six distinct geometry settings and an aftermarket shock link that allows for a 27.5” rear wheel, Stumpjumper EVO Alloy adapts to meet the needs of any trail in any terrain.
Answering the call for a high-performance spec alloy trail bike, the Stumpjumper EVO Alloy line is piloted by an Elite build kit that features top-of-the-line components. With a Comp build kit and a frame-only option as well, there is a Stumpjumper EVO for every discerning trail rider. Stumpjumper EVO Alloy finds the height of style, function, and versatility to bring riders the ultimate alloy trail bike experience. It’s the Golden Age of mountain biking, now with the pinnacle of aluminum frame crafting technology. The Stumpjumper EVO Alloy Elite retails for $5,600, with the cheaper Comp build coming in at $3,800 or frame only for $1,800.
