LEATT

2023 MTB SHOE LINE

A RANGE OF MTB SHOES TO SUIT EVERY RIDE

Two years after Leatt entered the MTB shoe market, the South-African based brand has transformed their flat shoe range with a new, in-house developed rubber compound.

Shoes are extremely important for any mountain biker, not only because of comfort but they are a key point of contact with the bike, ensuring stability, power and control. The Leatt range has been developed to maximize the biking experience, provide that all-important grip on the pedal and, as always – help prevent injury.

Leading the charge is the Leatt HydraDri 7.0, which sets the benchmark for all-weather performance. Designed from the inside out, with a bootie made from Leatt HydraDri membrane to offer 10K/10K waterproofing protection, the 7.0 also has a mud-resistant outer shell that is super-effective in keeping mud and water away from the inner speed lace system.

Turning the shoe over reveals a sole comprised of Leatt RideGrip™ Pro. This new rubber compound is 20% softer than the standard RideGrip™ use on the current clip shoe range. Leatt RideGrip™ Pro delivers superb quality grip thanks to a special blend of tacky and adhesive rubber to ensure stability as well as maximum pedal surface contact.

The sole pattern on the 7.0 has evolved into the WaffleGrip Pro – an inverted version of Leatt’s WaffleGrip – which allows all kinds of pins to penetrate even deeper for maximum pedal grip. The WaffleGrip Pro also provides excellent traction for those moments when you need to walk.

Leatt HydrDri 7.0: $ 189,00 / € 209,00

For clipless fans, the Leatt 4.0 Pro Clipless is an excellent choice. Its 25mm indexed cleat channel allows you to really lock in for the ride, while the 15mm rear extension reduces strain on your Achilles, and the neopreme ankle collar adds another dimension in comfort and protection. Quick-drying, and offering great ventilation, the 4.0 is built for extreme weather conditions, and the micro-adjuster MOZ cable-fit system allows you to make minute adjustments whenever required. The RideGrip™ sole offers optimum contact with the pedal, with the inbuilt mud channels drawing mud away from the soles.

Leatt MTB 4.0 Clip Pro (with MOZ): $159.00 / €179.00

If you’re looking for a high-performance sneaker specifically built for enduro and downhill riding, it doesn’t get much better than the Leatt MTB 3.0 shoe. The medium-stiff sole offers maximum comfort and protection for vulnerable areas such as the heel, the toe, and the instep. Like the Leatt Hydradri 7.0, this MTB shoe also features the distinctive WaffleGrip Pro sole pattern for great all-round grip even over the toughest courses. The EVA / rubber blend midsole offers the perfect amount of flex for next level pedal contact.

Leatt MTB 3.0 Flat (with laces): $129.00 / €149.00
Leatt MTB 3.0 Flat Pro (with MOZ): $149.00 / €169.00

For the more casual approach, there’s the all-new Leatt MTB 2.0. Whilst the sharp styling may give this shoe the look of an every-day sneaker, the 2.0, with its RideGrip™ Pro sole, effortlessly transforms into a riding shoe with impressive grip. Once again, this is due to the distinctive Leatt WaffleGrip Pro sole pattern, which enhances contact with shorter pins on the pedal.

Leatt MTB 2.0 Flat: $99.00 / €119.00

With this impressive range of flat shoes, Leatt once again proves its commitment to developing footwear designed to greatly enhance your ride. Whether it’s for hardcore conditions, or for everyday urban riding, Leatt will help you put your best foot forward.
