Bell announces the all-new Sanction 2 and Sanction 2 DLX Mips, full-face helmets designed for younger riders, those new to the bike park, BMX track or riders looking to add a full-face helmet to their arsenal.

Both Sanction 2 helmets draw on the DNA of the Full-10 Spherical. Launched in early 2023, the Full-10 comes equipped with Spherical Technology and a bevy of other technical features that made it Bell’s most advanced bicycle helmet ever. Sanction 2 carries through many similar characteristics such as Mips technology, sleek styling, and ample vents that put the rider first.

“The Sanction 2 was designed to be just as at home on the BMX track as it is on the jump line of your local mountain,” said Daniel Powell , Marketing Manager at Bell. “We set out to build a helmet that offered all-around performance, protection, and value for any type of riding. The idea was to redefine what you can expect from an affordable full-face helmet.”

Available in two models – Sanction 2 DLX, comes standard with Mips Essential to help reduce impact forces in the event of a crash. It also offers rider-focused comforts such as Ionic+ TM antimicrobial padding, which uses embedded silver metalized yarn for odor control, Fidlock® buckle system that allows for easy, one-handed closure and an adjustable flying bridge visor. The cheek pads are removable for ease of washing. The DLX model weighs 1080 grams in the medium size.

Sanction 2 features the same ABS shell and EPS liner as the DLX version but is available without Mips Essential. It is also available in XXS (in certain colors) specifically designed to accommodate younger riders. Sanction 2 weighs in at just 1040 grams in the medium size.

Both the Sanction 2 DLX and the Sanction 2 were designed for riders of all ages and abilities that want to shred.

Available online and at Bell authorized retailers, the Sanction 2 DLX Mips will retail for $180 USD, ($200 for special colorways and signature models) and the Sanction 2 will retail for $120 USD. Both models are ASTM DH and ASTM BMX Certified.
