THE NEW INTRIGUE X RANGE

New to the Intrigue family, this mid-travel trail bike features advanced geometry customization,
including a reach adjust headset, for a personalized ride experience.

Liv, the company dedicated to getting more women on bikes, today launched the new Intrigue X Advanced and Intrigue X series. Designed for intermediate and expert trail riders, the Intrigue X is a standout performance mid-travel trail bike, perfect for navigating everything from playful, gravity-fed trails to rugged singletrack. Key features include mid-travel suspension (150mm F/ 140mm R travel), adjustable geometry with both the flip chip – Maestro 3 and the new flip chip – headset, and wheel systems with Wide Guard rim technology.

The Intrigue X Advanced and Intrigue X series boast adjustable geometry, allowing riders to customize the bike’s geometry to match the trail, riding style, and rear wheel size. The flip chip – Maestro 3 enables adjustments to the head tube angle, seat tube angle, and bottom bracket height, a proprietary technology that was first introduced with the Intrigue LT range last year. Additionally, the new flip chip – headset offers customizable reach with positions of -5mm (short), 0mm (mid), or +5mm (long). These adjustments improve handling and stability while offering a personalized fit for riders.

Models in the Intrigue X Advanced series feature a lightweight Advanced-grade composite frameset, engineered for an optimal balance of stiffness and weight, resulting in an ultra-responsive ride quality. The Intrigue X series frameset is constructed with ALUXX SL-grade aluminum, offering durability and value. All models boast integrated down tube storage for a convenient solution to carry tools and snacks, along with a set of frame mounts underneath the top tube for attaching a compact gear bag. Additionally, the Intrigue X range is equipped with OverDrive, Liv’s oversized fork steerer tube technology designed for precise front-end steering performance. With oversized headset bearings (1-1/2” lower and 1-1/8” upper) and tapered steerer tube, this system ensures the ideal balance of steering stiffness and responsiveness. Paired with 140mm of Maestro rear suspension and 150mm of front suspension, this mid-travel trail bike is built for efficient climbs and smooth, controlled descents.

For wheel configurations, frame sizes XS and S are exclusively designed for a mullet setup with a 29-inch wheel up front and 27.5-inch wheel in the rear, optimizing rear wheel travel and providing a nimble rear end and a fast rolling, stable front end. Frame sizes M and L come with 29-inch wheels front and rear, with the flexibility to switch to a 27.5-inch wheel in the rear (sold separately), offering riders the choice between fast and comfortable or quick and agile riding characteristics.

The Intrigue X Advanced models feature the Giant TRX WheelSystems with carbon rims, while the Intrigue X models come with the Giant TRA WheelSystems with alloy rims. Both wheelsystems are equipped with Wide Guard rim technology, which includes a broad 30mm inner rim width and a robust 5mm sidewall to reduce the risk of impact punctures. These wheelsystems also allow riders to run lower tire pressure without the need for heavy tire inserts, ensuring better grip and control on rough, technical terrain.

Other notable additions include internal cable routing and integrated cable ports for a clean look and smoother performance for derailleur, brake, and dropper seatpost cables. The drive-side chainstay and down tube are equipped with frame protection to guard against rocks and debris, while a clear 3M protective strip on the upper part of the down tube safeguards the frame during shuttle vehicle transport.
