DONATE TO SUPPORT TRAIL BUILDING + GET ENTERED TO WIN

When thinking about epic PNW mountain bike trails with shuttle access, what generally comes to mind? North Shore, Bellingham, Darrington, Issaquah, Capitol Forest, Cold Creek, and Portland. Wait, did we mean to say Portland?!

Long-avoided and passed over due to its lack of diverse and generally compelling riding options, Portland’s abundance of blue flow trails has relegated itself as a place for road tripping MTB’ers to leapfrog on their pilgrimage through the I-5 Corridor.

Westside Trail Federation (WTF) and their army of volunteers have been working hard on changing that narrative, partnering with the Oregon Department of Forestry to offer Oregon riders more advanced, technical, and raw shuttle-accessible terrain to advance their skills and push their limits.

Only 30 miles west of Portland, Oregon, the Drift Creek MTB Area, which is in development Phase 1 of 3, currently offers Fear and Loaming, a 4.3 mile 2300ft shuttle descent with a diverse palette of steeps, booters, and chutes. Opened just this year, it’s big brother, Gnarstow, ups the ante with its steep, loose, and raw descent that’s suitable for the longest-travel bikes.

With the help of RockShox and Cascade Bikes, WTF is giving away a one-of-a-kind RockShox Zeb Ultimate to support the construction of our newest trail, Bat Country, which will sit comfortably in between Fear and Loaming and Gnarstow on the spicy-scale.

You can donate to our fundraiser to help bring these trails to life all while putting your hat in for a custom Zeb Ultimate 29, with a Charger 3.1 damper tuned for the gnar by Cascade Bikes. Not only that but you could be the first person to drop into the new Bat Country trail when it opens in Spring of 2025.

100% of proceeds will go directly into the trails. We’re saving up for a mini-excavator to move all that dirt!
