Mountain Bike Media Collective Misspent Summers Launches New DH and Enduro Yearbooks
The MTB print specialists release two new unmissable books for mountain bike fans.
Misspent Summers is proud to launch the 2025 downhill and enduro yearbooks, Hurly Burly and The World Stage.
The latest yearbooks – the ninth and eighth editions of Hurly Burly and The World Stage – are the culmination of a decade’s experience working with mountain biking’s top journalists and photographers to record the sport’s history in collectible print editions.

A historic mountain bike season
The 2025 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup season was the third year of the series being organised and broadcast by WBD Sports, and it brought further updates to racing formats and the calendar.
Downhill World Cup racing went to 10 venues across Europe and North America, and the standalone World Championships event took place on downhill’s most infamous track in Champéry, Switzerland. Junior racers challenged the elite racers’ times repeatedly throughout the season, established pros battled for series titles, and superstar up-and-comers had breakout seasons. It was a big year – downhill’s biggest, in fact.
Meanwhile, enduro racing went to seven European World Cup venues and the World Championships took place in the huge mountains around Aletsch Arena, Switzerland. Going back to its adventurous roots, the World Cup series threw in two-day epic races that were well appreciated by racers and fans alike, and there was a new buzz around the series. The sport’s first night stage in La Thuile, Italy, drew thousands of spectators and showed enduro at its very best.
Misspent Summers was there to capture every moment of both downhill and enduro seasons in the 500+ combined pages of Hurly Burly and The World Stage 2025.
