JUNGLE SHREDDING AT IT’S FINEST
THE ULTIMATE MTB TRIP EXPERIENCE WITH WORLD TREAD ADVENTURES

When it comes to mountain bike trips, there are a lot of ways to do it. And our trip with World Tread last year was so good we knew we had to do it again! I’ve done just about every type of MTB trip you can imagine. Some riders prefer the dirtbag lifestyle, camping out and chasing adventure in a tent somewhere in a random parking lot. Others dream of spending a full week at a resort, lapping the same trails every day. Then there’s World Tread Adventures, whose goal is to take the guesswork out of your trip so you can focus on riding, relaxing, and making memories. Their all-inclusive trips mean no research, no stressing over logistics, and no surprises—just a seamless, worry-free experience.
“We handle all the planning and logistics,” they say, “so all you have to do is wake up, eat, ride, enjoy some time by the pool, and repeat.”
I just got back from seven incredible days in Costa Rica, and while I could’ve saved a couple of hundred bucks by planning it myself, I have no doubt that the experience was worth every penny. The friendships made, the stress-free days, and the simple pleasure of just showing up and riding made it more than just a trip—it was a core memory.
ARRIVAL & FIRST IMPRESSIONS
Stepping out of the van, we were greeted by a crystal-blue pool, a beautiful open-air main building, and an epic view of the surrounding mountains. On the wrap-around deck, an inviting spread of fresh fruit, cold drinks, and friendly faces welcomed us. As we recharged by the pool, the World Tread crew took care of our bags, unpacked our bikes, and got them built and ready to ride.
Some of us, eager to get rolling, built our bikes between sips of fresh fruit smoothies and got in a few warm-up laps on Buen Camino’s on-site trails. Others opted for a more relaxed start, swapping bike shoes for swimsuits and unwinding in the pool. Either way, it was the perfect introduction to a week of jungle living.

THE RIDE, THE CREW & THE EXPERIENCE
Over the next few days, our group—riders from all walks of life and skill levels—bonded in ways that went far beyond just shredding trails together. I’ve been lucky enough to ride some of the best trails in the world, and I’ve learned that a trip isn’t just about the terrain. Even the most legendary trails can feel empty if you don’t have good people to share the high-fives and post-ride stoke with. On the flip side, even “pretty good” trails can turn into an unforgettable experience when you’re riding with the right crew.
That said, group trips aren’t for everyone. If you’re someone who prefers total control over your schedule and pace, this type of experience might not be your thing. But if you’re open to the shared energy, the collective excitement, and the camaraderie of riding with a crew, a trip like this is well worth it. There’s something special about hyping each other up, pushing past comfort zones, and creating memories that last way beyond the ride itself.
