MONDRAKER MOUNTAIN BIKES

Mondraker was started in 2001 in Alicante, Spain with the goal of providing race level bikes for daily use,

bikes that are capable of delivering performance for the mountain bikers who wanted something beyond what the market was offering. Mondraker has always aimed higher, believing in their ingenuity, hard work and passionate Spanish blood. Two decades later Mondraker is proud to be one of the world’s best bike brands, offering high performance mountain bikes – all made by hand, with maximum precision and attention to detail – built to inspire.

Mondraker has been writing the book on long and low bikes with a philosophy they call Forward Geometry. Mondraker’s Forward Geometry is aimed at moving the rider to a more balanced attack position over the front of the bike. These bikes have very long front ends with slack head tube angles and reduced offset forks. Mondraker uses a suspension design they call Zero Suspension System, which is a type of virtual pivot where the shock is attached to both the top and bottom of the rear triangle via links.

Mondraker’s most recognizable bikes are the Foxy all mountain bike and the Summum DH bike. The DH bike was made popular by racers like Danny Hart, Brook Macdonald and Laurie Greenland. Hart won the 2016 DH World Championship aboard Mondraker;s Summum.
