THE DASH & LITE VKHL EDITION
April 1, 2025
We’re beyond excited to finally present our latest model today. We’re expanding our current full suspension lineup – the DASH and LITE – with the all-new “Long rear”—our boldest upgrade yet for the upcoming bike season.
The innovation? A rear end extended by a whopping 270 mm, delivering unmatched composure and stability – even on the most demanding alpine trails. The VKHL Edition features an impressive chainstay length of 720 mm.
Starting today, this VKHL* Edition model is available for order on our website.
*The name VKHL stands for German “Vorn kurz – hinten lang” which means short front – long rear and is often used for crazy haircuts. Haha.
Ultimate stability thanks to perfectly balanced weight distribution
Thanks to the massive wheelbase extension from 450 mm to 720 mm, composure is increased by a staggering 60%.
The rider’s center of gravity shifts further toward the cockpit, resulting in enhanced straight-line stability.
On steep descents, the bike sticks to the line like it’s on rails, while the extended chainstay design ensures optimal weight distribution.
Even when the rear end starts to slide, the “drift” reaches the rider with a delay – giving you that crucial extra moment to correct a mistake before it becomes a crash.

The advantages of the Long Version are obvious to us:
✔ Ultimate composure:
The extended wheelbase keeps the bike stable – even at top speed.
✔ Improved traction:
The longer rear end ensures maximum grip on loose and technical terrain.
✔ More control:
Optimized weight distribution results in a calmer, more confident ride through corners.
✔ Tight trails? No problem!
If you’re used to navigating switchbacks, this setup will take your riding skills to the next lev
Tech Insights & Development
Our development process is based on extensive testing with experienced riders.
Due to the altered leverage ratio, the shock system was specifically tuned to maintain the familiar performance characteristics.
In addition, the kinematics were optimized to ensure a responsive ride feel – even with the extreme rear end length.

From test phase to production?
With our small-scale production in Thuringia, we’re able to react and test quickly.
The first test prototypes are already out in the wild and are currently being put through their paces by none other than Raphaela Richter and Kevin “Kiwi” Dewinski.
Current German Enduro Champion Raphaela Richter says:
“I’m super stoked about the extended rear end and I’m convinced it’ll take my speed to the next level. I’m even considering racing the first EDR of the season in Pietra Ligure with this setup. To compensate the longer rear end with my 165 cm height, I’ve been testing some 3D-printed 2 cm inserts in my shoes – made by Ruben. That gives me a bit of extra height and might help me control the bike even better.”
Kiwi adds:
“I love unweighting the rear wheel before a corner and drift into the next corner. The longer rear makes it even easier to unweight, so I can brake earlier and still stay fast through the braking phase – then transition smoothly into a Scandinavian flick. Whether it’s actually faster in the long run… well, time will tell.”
Curious? Don’t wait too long – this exclusive upgrade is only available today, April 1st!
The DASH290 VKHL can be ordered as a frameset starting at €5,999 including German tax.
The €3,500 price increase is justified by the significantly higher material costs of the rear end.
Squared profiles in this length are currently extremely hard to source on the market.
