Nostalgic riders will remember… The 4th-generation Spartan is pure, unfiltered power. It may skip the high-pivot and idler, but goosebumps and speed cravings are still very much on tap. Built to tackle almost anything, what we like to call the war machine will be your best ally when it’s time to hit the trails — with zero compromise. Its 165 mm of rear travel, 170 mm up front, a sturdy aluminum frame made in Canada with an all-new adjustable chainstay feature, and completely reworked geometry will take you to a place where yesterday’s limits become today’s new standards.

So what’s new on this Spartan? We’ve evolved an iconic platform and brought it to where riders’ expectations are today. The geometry has been completely modernized, with longer chainstays and a slacker head angle—now between 63° and 63.5°—giving more stability and confidence when the pace picks up. The return of the proven Split Pivot suspension system balances pedaling efficiency, weight, and ease of maintenance. Versatile by design, the Spartan accommodates both MX wheel setups and full 29’’ builds without altering its geometry, while introducing adjustable chainstay length, the SHED storage compartment in the downtube, and a Boost 148 rear. All of it is backed by Devinci’s renowned lifetime warranty, a promise of durability and commitment to our riders.

For 2026, the Spartan Gen‑4 comes in three distinct builds, plus a frame-only option for riders who want full control over their choice of components. At the heart of the GX AXS build are Fox Factory Kashima suspensions, including the all-new Fox 38 2027, SRAM Maven Silver brakes that are powerful and fully adjustable, Race Face Vault hubs, a Race Face ERA 40mm carbon bar, and Maxxis DoubleDown tires for extra toughness. The Eagle 90 build features RockShox Select+ suspensions, SRAM Maven Base brakes, and DT Swiss 370 Classic hubs. Finally, the Deore 12s build comes equipped with a RockShox Domain Gold R fork, SRAM DB8 brakes, and a Shimano Deore 12-speed mechanical drivetrain.
