Sleeker integration, a cleaner look, and streamlined model names: for our launch on 19th August, we’re taking our iconic e-mountain bikes. the JAM, SAM, and THRON, to the next level.

We’ve given our frames a smart design update, packed them with cutting-edge components, and introduced fresh colourways.

On top of that, we’ve simplified our naming system to make our product portfolio even clearer and easier to navigate.

CHANGE IN OUR NAMING STRUCTURE

We want to have more clarity and simplicity in our product names for you.

Therefore, we will change our general naming structure over the Model Years (MY) 2027 and 2028.

Changes begin with e-mountain bikes in MY27, followed by the others in MY28.

All new product introductions will follow this logic.

NEW FOCUS E-MTBs MY27

The Bosch Kiox 400C display seamlessly integrated into the top tube A clean design language has long been a core feature of our e-MTBs. Now, the JAM gets a completely uncluttered cockpit. To pull this off, the limited-edition JAM LTD, JAM 9, and JAM 8 receive a new frame featuring one major ugrade: a custom recess built right into the top tube for the Bosch Kiox 400C display. Sitting flush with the frame, the integrated screen delivers a sleek look, improved readability, and extra protection if you take a spill. Naturally, you still get all your real-time ride data and full FlowApp navigation, all controlled effortlessly via a sleek, wireless handlebar remote.

The proven riding performance remains completely untouched — the geometry and kinematics are exactly as you know them to be. All models continue to feature a generation 5 Bosch Performance Line CX motor, which you can boost up to 120 Nm maximum torque. Depending on your personal need, you can choose from a 600 Wh or 800 Wh battery.

Exclusive JAM LTD with high-end components

The star of the new lineup is the JAM LTD, limited to just 200 units. The Bosch Kiox 400C display is fully integrated into the top tube, making a super-clean cockpit possible. The FOCUS One Piece cockpit isn‘t just slick and lightweight, it‘s crafted from recyclable carbon fibres.

A Shimano XT Di2 drivetrain puts total control at your fingertips, letting you choose between AutoShift, RollShift, or manual shifting depending on your preferences. Paired with razor-sharp, custom-tuned FOX Factory suspension, the JAM LTD leaves nothing to be desired. For the JAM LTD, we’ve specified the Performance Line CX paired with a 600 Wh battery.

Fresh looks & cutting-edge components

On top of the new display integration and streamlined naming structure, the individual SAM and THRON models have received extensive fine-tuning. Striking new colourways give the bikes a bold, vibrant aesthetic, while component upgrades across the board promise even more fun out on the trail.

New set-up for SAM 9, bigger battery for THRON

Highlight for the SAM family is definitely the SAM 9 with all-new RockShox ZEB Ultimate fork and the Vivid Ultimate coil shock. As it suits the enduro-machine, we kept the system controller and mini-remote for the SAM. For the THRON there‘s an upgrade in terms of capacity; all 600 Wh batteries are now replaced with the bigger 720 Wh version.
