The New 6080 Z eMTB

Self-Shuttle Downhill Rig

Imagine Superpowers.

A downhill bike with a built-in shuttle, the 6080 Z e-bike transforms every mountain into a bike park, so riders can play the mountains harder for longer.

With a robust alloy frame, 190mm fork, 180mm of rear travel, Bosch’s Performance Line CX motor and a 750 Wh battery, riders will feel like heroes on the ups and the downs.

Technical highlights

The 6080 Z is the first alloy SCOR. Rated to ASTM 5 – the same standard DH bikes are tested to – the frame is reassuringly robust without feeling overbuilt. The hydroformed tubing gives it a similar silhouette to the rest of the SCOR range with muscular good looks.

This is a bike that doesn’t pull its punches, and the geometry backs that up. A 63º headangle and long front center give you the confidence to let it roll, while short chainstays keep the playful ride feel that SCOR have become known for. A flip chip adjusts the bottom bracket height to give geometry tuning options. Raising the BB increases pedal clearance and steepens the headangle.

The 6080 Z is available in four sizes from S to XL, all using a mullet wheel setup.

180mm of rear travel gives a feeling of invincibility and supreme ability while still feeling responsive and engaging. This comes down to the suspension system.

The lower-link driven instant center linkage design is the same as that found on the rest of the SCOR range but with added progression to better handle the extra weight and hard riding it’s intended for. This makes for an active suspension feel – supple and controlled over the rough stuff with plenty of support when pushing through turns and popping off lips. Both 6080 Z models come with air shocks but will happily work with a coil shock.

The Bosch Performance Line CX system is well proven. The 85 NM of torque offers plenty of grunt to get up, over and through rough terrain.

Paired to the large capacity 750 Wh battery, the 6080 Z makes the case for saving on the price of a lift pass and making your own fun on the way to the top.

The wireless remote and top-tube integrated system controller minimize cockpit clutter.

With great power comes great control. Bosch’s Smart System connects drive-unit, battery and on-bike controls with the Flow app. The app allows for rider mode customization, over the air updates, ride tracking and more.
