SkyPark Bike Fest

Two day festival to include eMTB challenges and is part of a two-year partnership.

On September 12-13, Bosch eBike Systems will support the 12th edition of SkyPark Bike Fest at Santa’s Village. Located in the San Bernardino mountains, SkyPark is home to an extensive network of well-marked, directional mountain bike trails which are groomed daily, and feature berms, jumps, and wood features. Bosch eBike Systems partner brands including Ari, Kona, Pivot and Polygon will have their latest bikes available for demo on a first-come, first-served basis.
“SkyPark plays an integral role in the Southern California mountain biking community,” said Kurt Hoy, marketing manager at Bosch eBike Systems. “We’re thrilled to be a sponsor of Bike Fest, where riders can experience the latest from Bosch and our partner brands while competing in two unique events: Saturday’s Skills Challenge and Sunday’s Enduro Time Trial.”
Saturday will feature the Bosch eMTB Skills Challenge, a spectator-friendly, technical uphill riding event. Sunday, there will be the first-of-its-kind Bosch eMTB Enduro Time Trial, where riders will compete against the clock on a course that traverses SkyPark and combines five trails. Both events are free to the public.
Bosch technical representative, Brian Cleveland, who developed the Enduro TT concept alongside the SkyPark team, described the event as a “single stage that covers a lot of ground, including some of SkyPark’s most popular trails.” He continued, “Because we designed the course for eBikes, it includes some challenging uphill sections, plenty of flowy descents and even a little tech.”
