THE WILD AS05 Project

“Antidote Solutions interest for Mountain Bike competition is nothing new. For decades, we have worked under the radar and closely with teams to enhance bikes performance. Our close observation of how teams operate, the constraints they face, and the shift in media exposure brought by Warner Bros. Discovery convinced us that the time had come to develop a solution focused solely on performance, free from the constraints of a cycling brand’s marketing strategy.
Antidote Solutions Racing is not a bike brand, but an operational structure dedicated to top-level racing.
The goal for Loudenvielle is to show the full potential of the bike, our organisation and our operating strategies, with the aim of competing at the highest level starting from the 2027 season.” – Frédéric Bernard
“From my very first conversations with Fred from Antidote Solutions, one thing became clear: we share the same passion for downhill racing and bikes designed purely for performance. When the opportunity to join the AS05 project came up, my decision was immediate. Through Collective Agency, my management company, I’ll first be overseeing the development of partnerships before stepping into the role of team manager once the project is fully established.
With AS05 our ambition is clear : to push the boundaries of performance and innovation. This begins with the development of a unique bike prototype, directly inspired by technologies from MotoGP and Formula One. We can’t wait to unveil this concentration of technology to the world at the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup Loudenvielle at the end of May.” – Cédric Carrez
“I’ve always loved a challenge, especially when it comes to building a concept from scratch. And what motivates me even more is being part of ambitious projects like the one Antidote Solutions is currently developing.
When they called me to tell me about it and I realised what it was all about, I was immediately hooked. And given the sheer amount of work behind this first prototype of a completely new bike, the team’s dedication, and the resources invested, it was clear that this was a real opportunity for me to join the project. Everything is designed for performance, both on and around the bike.
When I first saw the AS05, I was impressed. It’s so different from anything we’re used to. It really gives you the feeling that you’re on a proper race machine. And once out on track for the first tests, I was honestly blown away. I was immediately able to ride fast while still feeling in control and confident. The bike requires a slightly different riding approach. It’s more about precision in line choice and braking than pure aggression and constantly trying to carry speed. It almost feels like the bike is doing part of the job for us, it’s incredible. That’s really cool and super exciting for the next steps.
Next up is continuing to develop the project, with the first big step coming at the upcoming World Cup in Loudenvielle. Can’t wait!” – Gaëtan Vigé
