Why an application form?
The team knows riders will be travelling from across the globe and we want to provide all riders a fair opportunity to put themselves forward to race without time zone impacts. Trans Caledonia also want riders who are unsure and on the fence to be able to take the time to complete the application, work out plans with their family and also convince their friends to join them at Trans Caledonia. Entering a race shouldn’t simply be about who submits quickest.
Race Route and Trails
Racing will kick off in Aberdeenshire and the Royal Deeside, before heading west to the Scottish Highlands. The route then follows the River Tay south towards the majestic region of Perthshire. Our final few days will bounce between famous riding spots along the River Tweed in the Scottish Borders.
With over 35 stages across the week, 250km of riding, uplifts and more descending than climbing riders will get a real flavour of Scotland and what it has to offer.
