Trek launched its all-new Rail+ today, building on the brand’s revered long-travel, full-assist Rail platform and delivering more travel, hard-charging handling, and Bosch’s new Performance Line CX motor. With 85Nm of torque, Rail+ makes easy work out of long, techy climbs, while 160mm of front and rear travel squash any obstacle in the way. It’s topped off with MX wheels and adjustable geometry for confident handling and a tuned-to-you feel for any rider.

THE LATEST FROM BOSCH

Rail+ features Bosch’s latest Performance Line CX motor, boasting the same 85Nm of torque as previous Rail models, but with smoother, more refined-feeling support and less noise. Riders get all the benefit of a full-powered e-MTB with a more natural feeling- and sounding-ride.

BIGGER, MORE SECURE BATTERY

In addition to the updated motor, Rail+ also gets a new Bosch PowerTube battery with Trek’s own updated Removable Integrated Battery (RIB 2.0). The new battery boasts a whopping 800Wh of support, compatible with PowerMore range extender for peak-to-peak epic rides. The optimized RIB 2.0 tech allows riders to secure and remove their battery with a quarter-turn of a hex key, while keeping their toes safe from a heavy hit thanks to a catch mechanism.

NEW SYSTEM CONTROLLER & REMOTE

Keeping the ride sleek, intuitive, and minimalist, Trek equipped Rail+ with Bosch’s Mini Remote and System Controller, allowing for quick mode changes and a clean view of assist level and battery life with minimal impact on precious cockpit space.

UPDATED ADJUSTABLE GEOMETRY

Rail+ gets some welcome updates to its geometry, with a slacker 64.5° head tube angle and new adjustable geometry features. Riders can tweak their bottom bracket height and head tube angle a half a degree thanks to Mino Link, and adjust leverage rate with the flip of a chip. Rail+ is also compatible with angle-adjust headset cups (sold separately) for going a degree slacker or steeper.

MADE FOR MULLET

To keep handling balanced in the steeps, Rail+ is spec’d with a 29˝ front and 27.5˝ rear wheel. Riders get the low rolling-resistance and trail-smoothing benefits of a 29er in rowdy terrain and the extra agility of a smaller rear wheel for extra-tight alpine turns and steep rock rolls.
