WRP TRINITY DH PROTOTYPE

CRAFTED SPEED

July 2, 2026

Since I first laid eyes on the Trinity Downhill bike developed by Williams Racing Products, I’ve been dreaming of the day I get to swing a leg over one. Fast forward a couple of years, and I had the fortune of another trip to the promised land of New Zealand for the MY27 SRAM launches.

While I was on the other side of the world, I took the opportunity to connect with a few brands and good people from the mountain bike world, including Mic Williams of Williams Racing Products. He kindly took time out of his busy schedule to set up his personal Trinity downhill bike for me to ride on the trails at Skyline bike park in Queenstown, NZ.

The WRP Trinity lived up to the expectations, and then some! During our time together, Mic dove deep into some of the details of his prototype DH machine, which satisfied my inner bike nerd. Check out the video to see this bespoke downhill mountain bike in action, get my first impressions, and learn about it from its designer.

I’m not going to go into the details of this bike beyond what is covered in the video, since it’s a prototype and Mic has already made a range of tweaks to the design, with some more exciting tech up his sleeve. For now, you’d be best to give him a follow on Instagram and fire him a message through the form on his website if you’re interested in getting your hands on one from the next batch.
