About The Fox Enduro Pro Knee Pads

The Enduro Pro knee pads have always been the pedal-friendly pads in the Fox Racing range that are designed to offer enough protection for gnarly enduro mountain biking. And with these updated 2025 models, they haven’t deviated from this. However, they have switched protective insert providers, and partnered with Koroyd to deliver a highly breathable and flexible knee pad that will still offer CE Level 1 protection.

The Koroyd protective insert is housed in a pocket that is independent from the main knee sleeve. This allows the knee to move with less friction and resistance, helping to keep the pads extremely comfortable when pedaling. On the face of the insert pocket, a Cordura material is used to give high levels of abrasion resistance.

The knee sleeve extends far above the knee, with generous silicone grippers to help them stay in place. Below the knee pad there’s also an extended sleeve with highly elastic material. The Enduro Pro knee pads are given an antimicrobial treatment to prevent them from developing a smell.

Available in sizes XS to XXL, the Fox Enduro Pro Knee Pads retail for $114.95 / £89.95 / €99.99.

Fox Enduro Pro Knee Guard Review

THE DIRT

Fox Racing was a sponsor of our 2025 eMTB Shootout, which you’ll see rolling out over the coming month. As part of this feature, they kitted us out with quality gear from head-to-toe, however there was no promise of positive reviews. This review is genuine and independent, as with any of the reviews on The Loam Wolf – it just happens that we’ve found one of our favorite knee pads yet.

The Fox Enduro Pro knee pads with Koroyd protector offered our whole crew outstanding levels of comfort. Fox’s move to separate the protective insert’s sleeve from the main sleeve that holds the pad in place was extremely smart. It allows for some of the least resistance to articulation of any pad we’ve tested. Yet, the thin Koroyd protective insert will still exceed CE Level 1 standards.

We didn’t test the Enduro Pro knee pad with a huge number of crashes. But on the instances we hit the ground or bashed a knee against the bar or stem, it offered reassuring protection. We’re unlikely to opt for these slimline and lightweight pads for bike park use or the roughest rocky descents – instead we’d call upon one of the pads in the Fox Launch lineup. But for general trail to enduro mountain biking and eMTB, the protection is ample to keep us happy. The Cordura face fabric likely won’t slide as well as a hard cap, but is likely to stand up well due to the high level of abrasion resistance.

Fox Enduro Pro Knee Guard Review

Ultimately, protective equipment is only good if you’re likely to wear it without complaint. When it comes to the new Fox Enduro Pro knee pads, you’ll not only find us wearing them on an enduro bike, but likely on anything down to a downcountry bike. They are that comfortable.

Of course, wearing knee pads is always going to add additional heat to your knee area. And the length of the Enduro Pro knee pads is going to add heat to a larger area than many. However, there’s great airflow through the Koroyd insert, and the remainder of the material used ranks highly in sweat wicking and cooling abilities.

We’re likely to keep running these pads for the majority of our rides for the rest of the year, so will report back if we experience any durability concerns. For now though, there’s no evidence of stitches unthreading or other issues yet. Their antimicrobial treatment hasn’t proved to make them unstinkable, but helped them stay tolerable into the fifth day in a row of getting them sweaty, which is amicable.

The Wolf’s Last Word

The Fox Enduro Pro knee pads with Koroyd protective insert may just be the comfiest Level 1-rated knee pads we’ve tested. With some clever design and a lightweight and breathable protective insert, these are stellar pads for the pedal-fed days on your mountain bike and eMTB.
