ABOUT THE VELOCIO WOMEN’S TRAIL ACCESS PANT
The Velocio Women’s Trail Access Trousers are designed for year-round mountain bike action. With a 30.5-inch inseam for a size Medium and durable Nylon-based lightweight CORDURA fabric, they are super comfortable and provide protection whilst on the trail. The pre-shaped 3D pattern and tapered legs ensures a close fit, while the DWR treatment adds weather resistance. The waist features belt loops, which are optimized to work with the Velocio X Arcade belt. Minimal seams and advanced patterning enhance durability, and the laser-cut zip pockets are a thoughtful touch.
You can grab a pair on Velocio’s website in two awesome colors, and the size range from XXS to 3XL in Women’s and XS-4XL for Men means there’s something for everyone. At $199, they might be worth every penny for the level of comfort, style, and performance they bring.

THE DIRT
I had a bit of a mixed experience with the Velocio Women’s Trail Access Trousers. After consulting Velocio’s online size and fit guide, I opted for a large. While the trousers were comfortable, I found them to be slightly baggier in the thighs and legs than I’d have loved, although they fit nicely around my hips. The inclusion of some slide-fit buttons helped keep the trousers fitted, but they were a bit annoying to undo. However, I appreciated the assurance that they wouldn’t be unfastening and letting the pants slide down during my ride.
The quality of the Trail Access Pant was top-notch. They offered excellent breathability given their otherwise durable feeling. However, they weren’t particularly warm, and I definitely felt the chill on colder days over the winter. On the plus side, they had ample space for knee pads and featured two decent pockets where I could comfortably stash my phone and other essentials.
My favorite feature by far was the Velocio X Arcade Ridge belt that Velocio sent me to go with the pants. It was incredibly comfortable and made adjusting the fit a breeze. Despite the slight issues with fit, I must say that the style and durability of the Velocio Women’s Trail Access Trousers was impressive overall. They had a sleek and modern look that I really appreciated, and the high-quality construction was evident from the moment I put them on. Even after several rides, the trousers held up exceptionally well, showing minimal signs of wear and tear.
The Wolf’s Last Word
Overall, while there were some minor drawbacks, the Velocio Women’s Trail Access Trousers proved a solid option, especially if you prioritize comfort and adjustability on your rides. Their combination of style and durability solidifies these trousers as a reliable choice for any she wolf looking for something different and reliable for her wardrobe.
