Last spring, SHIMANO brought together seven everyday riders to Bend, Oregon for a surprise look at the all-new DEORE XT M8200 components. Without knowing what was in store, the mixed group of riders, from self-described park rats, tinkerers, skeptics, and flow riders were instantly stoked when the new DEORE XT was unveiled. The excitement only grew as they hit the trails and experienced the bombproof durability with big rock hits, the quiet and smooth shifting, the intuitive and customizable ergonomics, and brakes that were “almost too good.”
