Custom Threads for a Custom Sled

Thanks to Voler Apparel we’ve been able to take our latest giveaway bike to the next level with a matching kit! We’re proud to announce Voler as the official clothing sponsor of our Shreddy McFly Specialized Stumpjumper Giveaway. After a recent conversation with some of the fine folks at Voler, we learned that they not only have the capabilities to do small batch customizations, but produce them in California. With a little creativitiy and some generosity from Voler, they helped us sweeten the pot for 5 lucky people.

Here at The Loam Wolf we believe that USA-Made matters. Voler Apparel have been dedicated to American-manufacturing and custom riding gear since 1986. They built their company on that principle and have stayed committed to it ever since. Their factory sits in the small coastal city of Grover Beach, California, sandwiched between the chunk and chunder of the Cuesta Grade and the chaparral lined trails and ocean views of Montana del Oro. Over the last three decades, they’ve grown from a single employee operation and now provide 80 American manufacturing jobs.

It isn’t just where the kits are made. It’s how they’re made. After a coincidental conversation two weeks ago, we hadn’t even thought about doing custom kits to match our bikes. After our chat we were excited and thought we’d have to get ahead of the curve and work on a future bike together. The next day we got an email informing us that Voler could make it happen and we would have our custom jerseys made with a quick turn-around. We hit the drawing board real quick!

Voler’s Custom Express to the rescue. Their in house program gives you (us) full creative control to design the wildest trail jerseys. There’s no minimum order and nine days after we submitted our artwork, we pulled our Retro Loam Wolf Trail jerseys out of the box. Spot on and matchy, matchy with the Stumpy. Inside the box sat five jerseys for us to give away to five lucky fans who’ve entered to win and one complete kit with shorts and Stow Bib for the grand prize winner. Stoked!

Let’s not forget about the SheWolf Pack. Voler didn’t. They sent over a full custom women’s jersey for one of you lucky SHEredders. Just like us, they believe that women who rip deserve rugged high-tech trail wear. Voler offers a complete line of women’s gear from shorts to bibs and jerseys.

We are stoked on how this kit turned out and have to admit, Voler actually sent us six jerseys but we stole one to keep for ourselves.
