NAVIGATING TECHNICAL HILL CLIMBS

Do you want to improve your technical mountain bike climbing skills? Are you stumped by downed trees or rock ledges in your path? Check out this video and learn the key movements to help you get up and over those steps with ease. In this video Drew starts out with some basic body movements and inputs to the bike on a basic curb. It’s an easily repeatable and easy to find obstacle that you can practice anywhere and will be the first step in learning the timing and moves to get you climbing up bigger rock steps and ledges. From there the progression ramps up to larger obstacles and then gets translated to some trail-like scenarios.

With these skills and some practice, you’ll be able to conquer technical mountain bike climbs, increase your confidence and smiles all while impressing your riding crew!
