Flow – The Award Winning Short Film
Featuring Nathan and Ruben de Vaux
Endura are proud to present Flow, an award-winning short film featuring the Trailrippers – Nathan and Ruben de Vaux – two mountain biking brothers from the Dyfi Valley in Mid Wales who are already making their mark on the British MTB scene.
Flow, which recently premiered at Kendal Mountain Festival, has already picked up its first award as Best Short Film at the Fort William Mountain Festival (15th – 18th February 2024) and has also earned up a third set of laurels after being selected for the London Mountain Film Festival (23rd February – 10th March 2024). The film has been submitted for a series of international mountain film festivals over coming months.
Mountain biking means everything to Nathan and Ruben and this short film tells their family story with the help of their Mum, Ina. Tog Together, they tell us how they first got into riding and then racing. They shed light on the benefits and challenges that being neurodivergent brings to their mountain biking and how riding bikes helps them regulate in times of stress.
Flow sees The Trailrippers riding on their home trails, at Dyfi Bike Park and racing at the Glencoe round of the British Cycling National Downhill Series in 2023.
Produced by Endura and the Trailrippers, Flow was directed, shot and edited by Scottish filmmaker Andy McCandlish, with additional cinematography and editing by Ashley Leung of Tiny House Creatives.
