TLW’s Rob Gets A New Test Bike

I (Rob) recently paid a visit to the Starling Cycles HQ in Bristol, UK, to collect and long-term review bike – the Starling Cycles MegaMurmur. It’s their long-travel, steel-framed 29er enduro maching.

I.will be riding the bike throughout 2024 and using it as my test-bed for any review components I get in on the site.

Starling touts their bikes as being tough, easy to maintain and low hassle. So as a long term test rig, it should hopefully be the perfect tool for the job. Especially for a year of brutal Scottish trails.

Starling supplied the frame and shock, and I brought along my own selection of hand-picked components. Starling’s many of many talents, James, did the building.
