TREK

THE NEW SLASH +

ADDING LIGHT ASSIST TO TREK’S AWARD-WINNING ENDURO HARD-HITTER

Today, July 25th, 2024, Trek dropped the most requested trail ride of the year — the all-new Slash+. Bringing the smooth, quiet assist of TQ’s HPR50 motor to the brand’s award-winning enduro bike, Slash+ delivers 170/170mm of high-pivot suspension, MX wheels, adjustable geometry, and light assist that makes hammering out a few extra laps a walk in the park.

MOTOR AND BATTERY
Slash+ is propelled by the same motor that helped Trek’s Fuel EXe roll in awards left and right — TQ’s HPR50. This quiet, compact motor looks, sounds, and feels more like a traditional bike, providing a smooth 50nm push to help riders cruise up climbs without feeling winded at the top. The motor is powered by a new, bigger 580Wh battery that bolts securely inside the top tube but can be easily removed with a hex wrench for storage or transport. Riders looking to crush even bigger days in the saddle can add on an optional Range Extender for an extra 160Wh of power.

HIGH PIVOT, MORE MOMENTUM
Like the award-winning analog Slash, Slash+ delivers 170mm of high-pivot suspension that provides insane grip and speed. On descents, the high-pivot’s rearward axle path allows the back wheel to move with terrain, keeping momentum high and traction planted. Point it uphill, and high-pivot, paired with HPR50, opens up a whole new world of capability for billy-goating up precarious climbs.

TUNED FOR ANY TRAIL
Slash+ can be tweaked for any kind of ride and any kind of rider. Leverage rate can be changed with the flip of a chip and geometry can be adjusted a degree steeper or slacker without affecting bottom bracket height with optional angle-adjust headset cups (sold separately). Slash+ also has plenty of space for rolling with bigger, beefier tires, coil shocks, and longer dropper posts.

MADE FOR THE MULLET
To take on the spiciest steeps, Slash+ is spec’d with a 29˝ front and 27.5˝ rear wheel. Riders get the steamrolling benefits of a 29er in rowdy terrain and the added clearance of a smaller rear wheel for extra room when they need to get way back.

ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES
Slash+ comes with an integrated guide to fully capture the chain, keeping it tight when trails get sketchy. Rugged guards protect the downtube from rock strikes and keep the chain quieter through brake-bump blasted trails. An impact-resistant Carbon Armor laminate under the paint adds extra durability.

AVAILABILITY
Slash+ is available now at Trek retailers around the globe and online at trekbikes.com in select markets.
